Lizette Corro, President and CEO

Lizette Corro is President and Chief Executive Officer of Corro Nobil Associates, a strategic planning and consulting firm. Prior to founding Corro Nobil, she was Chief Executive Officer of Linder & Associates (2009 to 2014) and President and Chief Executive Officer of The Webster Group (2006 to 2009), strategic planning, fundraising and global event management agencies where she developed and implemented growth strategies that substantially increased each firm's revenues and visibility. 

Previously, Ms. Corro was Senior Vice President of Resource Development for America's Promise - The Alliance for Youth and Managing Director at Orr Associates, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning, board development, capital campaigns and foundation management, where she led highly successful fundraising campaigns and special events for major nonprofit organizations nationwide.

Ms. Corro was Director of Catering for the ANA (now Fairmont) Hotel from 1994 to 1999. She led an earlier incarnation of Corro Nobil Associates, from 1984 to 1994, which focused on consulting to the hospitality industry on marketing issues, strategic planning and the development and implementation of revenue-enhancing action plans. This initiative grew out of more than ten years of experience in senior hospitality industry roles, including executive positions at the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Madison hotels. Previously, Ms. Corro was Assistant Chief of Protocol at the Inter-American Development Bank.  

Ms. Corro currently serves on the Board of Directors of World Central Kitchen, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Light of Healing Hope Foundation, Museum of the Americas, Youth Orchestra of the Americas and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Latino Student Fund. She is an Associate Member of the Board of Visitors of Children’s National Medical Center, a member of the Arts Advisory Board of American University,  a member of the Leadership Council of Cesar Chavez Charter Schools and on the Board of Advisors of Post-Classical Ensemble.

In the past, Ms. Corro has served on the Advisory Board of Directors of Women of Washington and as President, Vice President and Secretary of Les Dames d’Escoffier. She also has been actively involved in supporting the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival, Care Foundation, Lombardi Cancer Center, Knock Out Abuse Against Women, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School and St. Albans School.

Ms. Corro holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University's School of International Service and completed course work for a Masters in Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia. She completed the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility Program at Harvard Business School in 2007, and is a member of the Class of 2008 of Leadership of Greater Washington.
